I love the trailer.  And I know exactly what you mean about 'complex instructions' -kindof turning off potential users.  I am experiencing that right now with my FTL inspired game.

(shameful plug kifchris-demo-02.netlify.app )

I like the game concept...(forcing the player to make decisions on what to destroy or let pass...keeping the eyes moving up and down the screen...and then altering their plans based upon what falls) ...and the available levels...the explosions, sound design...the screen transition to a game over (awesome...made me want to lose to see it again)...all good.

It didn't run too well on chrome or brave for me...on this pc(but nothing seems to).

...the instructions, did seem a bit long and confusing.

"destroy downturns with green...destroy upturns with red...keep the line up there between those other lines...use the arrow keys"...might have been enough for me lol

it runs really smooth on my phone(but the controls were absent...(this may be my phone))...and the top of the title screen looks great...like really good...the buttons below could use a graphic upgrade...they seem a bit plain compared to the awesomeness at the top.

on the title screen, when the market hits a wall... there is a really loud whoop sound(over powering volume)...i've been sitting on the title screen for like 10 minutes...very chill tune.

(the email address collection is a nice idea...that i will probably steal)

Great game.  I'm glad my terrible tutorials helped  :)

Thanks for the feedback I was thinking about the oversimplified instructions like what you mentioned but then some people might not find adequate. That was the main issue I found my game and I do have a new game coming out soon that will specifically work on better instructions that are easier to follow and less overwhelming. Since it was my first game I didn’t care much about how the UI looked just as long as it worked. That is something I’ll also work on in upcoming games. A much or what the issue with Chrome is, but it does seem to run less efficiently compared to Firefox or Microsoft..

Good job! Fun arcade with interesting "score" management.

Thank you very much for playing and providing your thoughts. Too bad most people won’t have the patience for a few minutes to read and try to pick up the game like you did. I think this is at least one reason why more unique ideas don’t get implemented into games often. When there is a learning curve it just creates another obstacle and reduces player counts and engagement.
